Every repaint doubles a pixel's price. The painter you cover gets back 1.5× what they paid, so a fought-over pixel pays everyone who held it. Try it on one pixel.
The price ladder doubles fast: the 10th paint of the same pixel costs 0.0512 SOL, the 15th costs 1.64 SOL. Quiet pixels cool down 10% a day, never below 0.0001. Getting painted over pays you back plus 50%, but nobody has to paint over you.

Where the SOL
goes.
On a repaint you pay 2× the last price. 1.5× goes to the painter you covered, 0.25× buys $CANVAS and burns it, 0.25× runs the platform. On an empty pixel the 0.0001 SOL splits 50/50 between burn and platform. You don't need $CANVAS to paint.
It's a game, not an investment.
Getting painted over pays 1.5×, but nobody is obliged to paint over you. Most pixels stay at the price you paid. Expensive pixels are a fun way to lose SOL.
Anything you paint is public and permanent in the history. Moderation hides illegal or hateful art from the gallery view.
